Assuming you don't have a central boiler or live in an apartment complex, switch to solar water heating. The heating tank will be installed on your roof and there are multiple sizes available. Solar water heating will also reduce your electricity bills. Also check if your government offers some kind of incentive for installing solar water heating. Where I live (Malta) the government covers 40% of the installation cost.
