I know a woman with 20 spotlights in her kitchen. It looks classy, but she complains the kitchen gets hot. It would: 20 * 150 watts is 3,000 watts - the same as a three-bar electric fire. If she swapped them all for eco-bulbs, she'd save 2,700 watts and need less aircon too.
